New dating site for people living with a terminal illness

I saw this mentioned on BoingBoing: Till-Death-Do-Us-Part.com
The site just started today, Valentine's Day. Link to the press release - http://www.prweb.com/releases/datingservice/terminallyill/prweb1964014.htm

I am very blessed to be in a long-term relationship with a man who has known me since I was 15 years old (and this year will celebrate with me a 25th wedding anniversary), and remembers what I looked like in the cancer-free years. If I was back out on the dating field, though, wearing the scars of my cancer fight or recent news that the cancer has come back and won't be going away, I could see myself signing up for this. As anyone who has read this blog knows, I am all for getting things out into the open right away - and this site seems to do just that.

I've known my husband since I was 15 too! We've now been married for almost 5 years. I don't know what I would have done if he wasn't here by my side. =P

I'm not sure if you've read the latest news on the ACCOI website, but there appears to be a trial on a drug (called Vorinostat - which I was told was used for other cancers) that sounds very promising. Apparently two people have taken it to phase 3 and their lung and liver tumors are gone. A third lady is on it and her lung tumors are showing early signs of necrosis. The trial is being done at the Karamanos Cancer Center in Detroit and being run by a Dr. LoRusso. One of the men on the site commented and said his wife is on the drug right now.

I asked my DR about it and he said "all I know about this drug is that it is in a class of histone deacetylases which increased cell apoptosis (cell death." But he told me that he and I should keep an eye on it because it was the first time he heard of it's use for ACC.
