Please remember that each person will react differently than what I have described here due to their individual treatment protocol. My family doctor reminded me today that the loss of taste falls into the "nuisance" category of side effects - there are more serious side effects, some long term, that I know I need to be aware of and watch for in the months and years ahead. I know I have a good 5 years ahead of me, though, and I really hope they will be filled with good tastes (selfish grin!). Of course, always best when shared with friends and family!
