This is my place to relate my experiences with cancer treatment, as well as share resources that may be helpful to fellow oral, head, and neck cancer survivors. I was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma of the left parotid on June 30, 2006. My goal is to continue enjoying the Nebraska Good Life. I call this blog the "Cheeky Librarian", since the cancer was discovered in my cheek, I am a librarian, and many that know me say I fit the slang use of the word 'cheeky'.

For some reason I cannot get that page to load, so I am leaving my good wishes here, instead.
Good luck, Cheeky! I hope it's a pearl of great value, and that you recover from its removal quickly and without complication.
I also hope you are comfortably enjoying the painkillers of your preference as I write this. Cheers!
I came over from jeanne's place and wanted to pass along some well wishes of my own. Having trouble with the link, though. At any rate, sending strength to you, Teri, with lots of energy for healing, humor, patience, and peace following close behind. Take good care...
Thank you for posting on Teri's behalf. I have been praying for her continually today -- and have others praying for her, as well.
